Is anybody surprised that Bobby Bowden wants to be a part of the potential BCS selection committee to voice his say on who should play for a national championship? Probably not, but Bowden has confirmed he would be interested. The elder Bowden still watches the sport on a regular basis and he also is keeping up with the latest trends.
“I would be willing to serve on it,” Bowden said Tuesday. “I think ex-coaches have a lot of wisdom. I watch the games. And I watch the game films on my iPad.”
That’s right. Bowden watches game son his iPad. We wonder if he is sneaking ina game or two of Angry Birds on the commercial breaks and updating his Words With Friends games at halftime.
