Kyrie Irving Goes Beyond Expectations with the Celtics

The whole world was left in shock after Kyrie Irving revealed his desire to leave LeBron James and the Cavs. And now that he’s with the Boston Celtics, pundits, fans, and haters alike are once again left in shock as Kyrie’s having a pretty good time in the Garden.

Having a strong 48.1 percent shooting from the floor is one of the many proofs of how he’s synced well with his new team. Even his recent 36-point game was more than enough to showcase his dribbling and shooting prowess.

But it doesn’t mean that it’s a new thing for us to see how well he’s playing. After four strong years with the Cavs and making it to the Finals a couple of times, there’s no doubt that he’s just playing consistently.

However, things have changed, it’s very clear that he’s more confident than ever in leading his team. It isn’t that hard to analyze that being the only legit superstar/point guard is what makes him fired up for every game.

If he was once not that smooth when it comes to making threes under King James’ shadows, the opposite thing is happening now. Take for example his 5 out of 8 threes during their 108-97 victory over the Sixers. During the game, his agility to finish a fast break with style makes him nothing short of a basketball god. If ever there’s such a word.

Let’s face it; the Celtics are one of the worst teams when it comes to making plays. Fortunately, there’s the almighty Kyrie who can find a shot no matter how broken up their offensive setup is. This is especially true during the most intense moments of any of the Celtics’ tight games. Game after game, the 25-year-old proved himself to be a legend-in-the-making.

Needless to say, Boston’s 19-4 record is due to Irving’s contribution to their offensive game. Specifically speaking, it’s his drives and passes that make him worthy to be feared upon by his counterparts. Even his teammates are benefiting from his presence as they’ve had a surge of PPGs for the season’s first quarter.

Even Bradly Stevens can attest to the huge improvement his arsenal had experienced since the former Cavs player entered the scene. Stevens calls Kyrie one of the most gifted scorers in the game. Specifically speaking, he refers to Kyrie’s creativity in finishing impossible-looking plays even if given only a very small space. He went on saying that Irving makes his trick shots look easy even if it was really hard.

But it’s not just Coach Stevens who’s happy with their new top-gun, but his teammate Al Horford as well. The 31-year-old baller says that he impresses him game after game. He went on saying that the team’s chemistry improves thanks to the many opportunities that Kyrie creates on the hard court.

Meanwhile, the 76ers is one of the many teams that failed to deny Kyrie a victory even just for a single time. Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor gave everyone the impression that there’s no way the new Boston PG is going to go past them. But still, he did.

No matter how strong the team’s defense is, still Kyrie can find a way to reverse the odds. That’s how amazing he is, as what Coach Brett Brown of the Philly says.

So what does this bring us? Well, it isn’t hard to give an answer to that as the Celtics have clearly become a Finals-contending team. Of course, thanks to Kyrie Irving. This means that it would make perfect sense for fans or non-fans alike to make the most out of the opportunity.

And what better way to make the most out of it then by putting some money on them

And one of the best ways is by dealing with sports betting from a sportsbook. This way, not only do you enjoy the seemingly acrobatic prowess the Boston No. 11 gives you, but you can also make some good money out of it.

And isn’t it just what Kyrie wants? To get noticed and to be hailed as a legit superstar who’s out of LeBron James’ shadow? Well, his decision to leave the Cavs seems to be the right choice for him. With the Celtics ranked as the third favorite for outright winner of the 2017-18 NBA season, it’s very clear that Irving did a lot for the team.

But even though they’re on the top tier of the league, the Cavs and Warriors are still pretty much dominating everyone. It’s just a matter of time before we see how Irving’s Celtics will stack up with the rest for the remainder of the season.
