College football content is being consumed more and more through mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. The numbers prove it. One popular application for catching up on stories is Flipboard, an application that allows users to curate their own magazine-style layout of stories from around the web. It is easy to use and a nice way to flip through stories on any topic while keeping a magazine feel to the presentation.
The College Football Flip features some of the best writing on some various notable topics from around the college football blogosphere and traditional media and will be updated on a weekly basis. Some of the content from Crystal Ball Run will be featured regularly but featured stories will include more columns and long form links from other sites as well, including SB Nation, Sports Illustrated, FOX Sports, ESPN etc. No outlet is off limits. If it is well written, a good story or topical, it will be considered. Because the Flipboard experience is designed to keep these virtual magazines constantly updated, there will never be a true weekly or monthly edition released. However, every Saturday Crystal Ball Run will highlight some of the newest topics being discussed in the most current edition.
