Is E! planning a new reality show to replace Total Divas?

Welcome to the second edition of Crystal Ball Run’s “Hurry Up No Huddle” (if you enjoy shameless self-promotion then click here to read the first edition). This is a quick look around college football and some of the biggest stories, best content (and sometimes worst), videos and opinions. Let’s go ahead and get lined up so we can snap the football before the defense is ready….

Let’s start off by visiting one of the most hated sites on the internet, Bleacher Report. But before you click the x in the upper right-hand corner let me remind you that they have some really good writers like Barrett Sallee, Michael Felder, Kyle Kensing and Adam Kramer currently on their payroll. Do yourself a favor and read Felder’s latest piece on “What it’s like to take a redshirt”. [story link]

Chris Fuhrmeister of SB Nation has an interesting look at how conference realignment has affected recruiting. Give it a read whether you are a recruitnik or not. [story link]

Florida State got their bling rings. Take a look [story link]

Today officially kicks off March Madness and if you are a basketball fan then make sure you head over to Run the Floor for a primer. They’ve got you covered whether you want a traditional breakdown or a haiku.

If you are an NFL Draft guy, do yourself a favor and bookmark the Mock Database from DC Pro Sports Report and of course you can also show my guy Kris Zellner some love by taking a peek at his new three round mock draft.

If you are a stats guy (or girl), make sure you head over to Football Perspective and nerd out over Chase Stuart’s “College Quarterback Passing Stats from 2013”. Hint: Bryce Petty was pretty good. [story link]

On Friday, come back to the site to check out our “Friday Flashback” as we take a look back at one of the best plays in the BCS era. Until then, let’s take a look at something we covered last year. This video features one of the most interesting formations in college football and Princeton’s use of three QBs on the field at the same time…

Last but not least, it’s time for the beer of the week. The state of Georgia is a little behind some of the country in terms of it’s craft beer trade but it is catching up quickly with some really good up and coming breweries that have started over the last few years. One of those is Monday Night Brewing. My favorite from them, and one of my favorites right now, is the Drafty Kilt Scotch Ale. Unfortunately, their distribution hasn’t caught up to their quality yet but if you find yourself in Georgia, do yourself a favor and give this brew a try.
