VIDEO: Wisconsin newcomers earn their W’s

What makes college football easily the 2nd most popular sport in America? It's the same thing that hooks those that have never been around a college game day atmosphere – TRADITION. So, as Wisconsin has it's Jump Around and much more, new head coach Gary Andersen is bringing some new traditions to Madtown.

One is players (and now the rest of the students) learning and singing the fight song, but another is one borrowed from one of his mentors – Urban Meyer – and that's the tradition of the black stripe. See, players at UW aren't going to be handed their motion W on the side of the helmet when they enter Wisconsin. Instead they must earn it.

It's what is the subject of one of the better productions out there following fall camps across the country, simply titled "The Camp" and in the latest episode we get a look at exactly what happens to earn that W as five players did it in their first week.
