Maryland move to Big Ten not so popular with ACC mascots

Yes, we're talking mascots, but one look at this picture and you'll see why:

Now, you can make fun of mascots all you want (and who doesn't want to do that generally), but clearly this was a message sent that the Terps aren't wanted in the league anymore. Don't believe me? Guess where this pic came from? One of the ACC member's official Twitter account.

Yep, they ain't playing… O.K., maybe they actually were, but still. MARYLAND DOWN, EVERYONE ELSE UP seems to be the message and I haven't even gotten to the myriad of tasteless jokes that could be made with the Notre Dame Leprechaun being the one in the middle of all of this. I mean, seriously, it would be one thing if the rest of the Mascots were doing ridiculous poses, but that's not the case here.

If you're in the ACC clearly it's good riddance Maryland and if you're Maryland you clearly want out as fast as possible. It'll be interesting to see how the Big Ten opens its arms to you, that's for sure.
