Tunsil makes it a clean 1, 2, 3 sweep for Ole Miss

The story of Ole Miss and the 2013 national signing day is going to be one we'll all be talking about for years to come as the latest commitment came from the nation's No. 1 offensive lineman, Laremy Tunsil. Tunsil announced live on ESPNU that he will join the parade of top commitments in Oxford, Mississippi.

His commitment makes it a clean sweep of what some consider to be the nation's No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 players (Tunsil will join No. 1 overall prospect Robert Nkemdiche and top wide receiver Laquon Treadwell)- something that is truly remarkable for a team that played in the oh so awesome BBVA Compass bowl this past offseason. Tunsil may be one of if not the single most lauded prospects along the offensive line in quite some time. He's rated as a five star prospect by every single service out there – something that doesn't happen all too often (especially with offensive lineman) – and was the class 6A Player of the Year in Florida.

Tunsil's commitment to Ole Miss is truly crazy, considering the Rebels entered the fray very late in the game according to a lot of sources. It was thought the choices were going to be Alabama and Georgia, but a visit to the Oxford, MS campus this past weekend apparently sealed the deal.

It appears that the arms race that is going on in the SEC in terms of building facilities was what won the day for the Rebels, although I'm not sure how the hell you can beat the Bama weight room, but hey… What do we know, right?

As our Aaron Torres said in his article on Robert Nkemdiche it's truly Hotty Toddy, good God Almighty time in Oxford. It will be quite a scene on the grove and around that campus today. Let's face it, who's actually attending classes at Ole Miss today anyway – it's a holiday down South anyway, right?
