This is a big game for Miami, as Al Golden's Hurricanes look to make a bit of a statement in their home stadium against one of the top teams from the SEC. Florida's defense played well last week against Toledo and should have their hands full with Miami running back Duke Johnson. Miami leads the all-time series (28-26) and this is the first meeting in Miami since 2003. The Gators own a slight edge in Miami, winning 14 of 27 meetings.

After pulling off a big win against Georgia in week one, look for the Tigers to have a much easier time this weekend at home against FCS South Carolina State. TCU also gets a home game against an FCS program as the Horned Frogs should get even in the win column after losing to TCU last week. Oklahoma State's trip to San Antonio should result is a fairly easy win against Larry Coker's Road Runners.
Will Willie Taggart's bus stall in East Lansing?
South Florida (0-1) was among the most disappointing teams last week, getting blown away by McNeese State at home in Willie Taggart's coaching debut for the Bulls. It is far too early to call Taggart a failure at USF of course, but he needs to get the wheels on the bus turning round and round fast if South Florida is going to win at Michigan State (1-0) this afternoon.
Bobby Petrino, Western Kentucky looks to go 2-0 vs SEC
After knocking off Kentucky in Nashville last weekend, Western Kentucky looks to score another SEC victory in the state of Tennessee. Bobby Petrino takes the Hilltoppers in to Neyland Stadium fully capable of pulling an upset, but Butch Jones is looking to get the Vols back on track and this is the sort of game Tennessee used to mark as a win in ink before the season started. Winning in convincing fashion would help the Vols turn a corner, but could start to build a — dare I go there — BCS busting profile for Western Kentucky.
Cincinnati looks to pick up second Big Ten win
After demolishing Purdue last week, Cincinnati looks to carry the American banner one more time against a Big Ten opponent. The BearCats are at Illinois for an early kick off and this one could be fun to watch if Illinois shows up for a fight. Last year the Illini curled up in a ball when punched in the mouth. If Cincinnati scores early, look to see how the Illini battle back.

Bowling Green was very impressive in week one, dominating defending Conference USA champion Tulsa. This week the Falcons travel to Kent State, one of the more disappointing teams in week one despite getting a win. If Dri Archer is unavailable, it could be long day for Kent State in an important early season MAC contest. This is one of our BCS Buster Watch games of the week.
