Fresno State is looking to close out a late night win to improve to 8-0, leading Nevada in the fourth quarter with a shot at a BCS berth still within sight. Earlier in the game, down 7-0, Fresno State pulled a new trick out of the bag with three passes in one single play.
It started with Derek Carr throwing a backward pass to a receiver on the left side of the field and immediately getting the ball thrown backward to him. Once Carr had the ball back in his hand he quickly sailed one down field for a 57-yard gain to Josh Harper. This was Fresno State's first offensive play of the game, showing they are not going to hold anything back on their quest to play in their first BCS game in program history.
