Florida Atlantic QB wears helmet cam for spring game

Have you ever wondered what it is like to play quarterback in college football? We may not ever get a chance to see a true first-person point of view any time too soon in a real game, but Florida Atlantic gave us a new view during their spring game recently.

Florida Atlantic placed a Go-Pro camera on top of quarterback Melvin German III's helmet for the recent spring game. The first-person point of view from the FAU spring game is rather unique and with the popularity of these types of cameras continuing to grow it is probably safe to assume this will not be the last time we see this.

Florida Atlantic has done a few things to get people paying attention to their spring football game. This is just the latest way to embrace social media. The Owls also held a fan vote for the fans to determine which new helmet will be worn this fall.
