Cowboys Stadium a “Lock” to host playoff title game

When the new four team playoff was announced last year many speculated that the likely venue to host such an event was an obvious one: Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas – or as most know it "Jerry's World." It appears as if the bidding process is playing out just like most of us thought it would.

The new Cowboys Stadium has already played host to many big time events including the Super Bowl, the Cotton Bowl, and the kickoff game last year between Michigan and Alabama and that's just the tip of the iceberg for this palace of grandeur.

Let's just hope the weather is better than it was for it's biggest stagged event, when it hosted Super Bowl XLV. Let's also hope that folks who bought tickets actually get seats in the stadium this time too. That would be a nice treat over the last time they hosted a sports biggest event, huh?

Now, if Tampa Bay wins out it would be a bigger shock than Appalachian State beating Michigan back in 2007 – sorry, couldn't resist.
