He was the talk of college football earlier this month when he rumbled 69 yards for a touchdown in Nebraska's spring game. Now pediatric cancer patient Jack Hoffman is being immortalized in a time-honored sports tradition.
Upper Deck announced Tuesday that the seven-year-old Cornhuskers fan is getting his own trading card. Upper Deck is releasing a limited number of blown-up "Star Rookie" cards that Hoffman can autograph and use for charitable purposes. The Team Jack Foundation, a charitable group dedicated to fighting pediatric brain cancer, will be auctioning off the cards.
