Bear Bryant a cartoon character? So thought Gators Easley

Kids these days…. We've all heard that statement at one point and time in our lives. As sports fans and college football fans specifically there are just some names, dates, and figures that should stand out to you no matter where you are from or where you were born. The name Bear Bryant should be one of those figures we all know, regardless if you love, hate, or are indifferent to the man, he's a college football legend.

Well, apparently not to Florida defensive lineman Dominique Easley, who when asked about the legend had this response:

No, he wasn't kidding either and his attempt to get out of it is equally lame, blaming it on growing up north of the Mason-Dixon line.

He wasn't done dropping gems either as he admitted to being a cartoon guy over watching sports or heaven forbid this thing called the news. Whatever, his perogative, but hard to imagine a dude not knowing some of the most important figures in the history of the game you are playing and hope to make a living off of one day, no?

Easley then got a chance to show off his smooth celebration dance too:

He even went as far as to spew his honest opinon on the new NCAA targeting rule, saying that the rules are basically trying to make the defense play touch football out there.

After day one of the #SECMediaDays it's safe to say Florida won the day and is the early leader in the clubhouse for best all-around performance by a school and Easley is going to be a tough act to follow for the most honest and entertaining player this year.
