College football's final regular season game will be played Saturday afternoon in what is expected to be a pretty constant snowfall. We may not see an exact repeat of Sunday's Snow Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions, but the weather forecasts Friday morning are calling for a couple of inches of snow in Philadelphia with a 90-100% chance of precipitation between 3pm and 8pm, which just so happens to overlap with the annual Army Navy Game. This could be a classic in the making.
Before we officially move on to the bowl season, our staff assembled for one more round of picks. Here is how our staff is picking this year's Army Navy Game, with Navy looking for their 12th straight victory in the historic series.
Aaron Torres: Navy 27, Army 23
Andy Coppens: I want to pick Army to break the streak here, but they aren’t, well…how should I put it nicely…very good on defense. So unless they get the offense going against a good Navy D the losing streak to the Naval Academy continues and West Point remains desperate to win in 2014.
Navy 38, Army 17
David Singleton: Navy 28, Army 27
Kevin Causey: Navy 31 Army 21
Kevin McGuire: Here's what we know about the Army Navy Game. Navy may be the better team, as they have been over the last decade and change, but none of that seems to matter in this game. Army has the kind of offense that can grind yards out against Navy, just as the Mids will do to them. This game comes down to who makes the fewest mistakes, and that has been where Navy has pulled away in recent years. Army brings plenty of fight, but Navy comes away with another tight one.
Navy 27, Army 24
Tom Perry: Navy 34, Army 14
