Despite a disappointing senior season that has seen Georgia ravaged by injuries, Aaron Murray's name will live on long past his playing career. As a four-year starter at Georgia, Murray already became the SEC's leading passer in terms of career yardage and the SEC's leader in career total offense earlier this season.
Now he has broken the SEC career mark for passing TDs as he hit Michael Bennett on a 23 yard TD pass in the second quarter against Appalachian State during Georgia's homecoming game. This TD gives Murray 115 for his career, which is one more than previous record holder Danny Wuerffel.
The National Championship and Heisman Trophy have eluded him in his career but he does have some great stories he will be able to tell his grandchildren.
