LSU coach Les Miles holds a place somewhere near the top of the college coaching ranks. Ironically, though, he doesn’t exactly have a reputation as a master tactician.
Whatever Miles’ shortcomings may be in the Xs-and-Os department, they haven’t stopped the Tigers from kicking ass when given extra time to prepare for an opponent. Since taking over at LSU, The Hat's teams have been nails coming off of a bye.

With LSU enjoying last weekend off, history at least suggests that the Tigers will put up more of a fight Saturday night against Alabama than the 10-point spread would indicate.
