With almost 9,000 votes cast, LSU defeated Nebraska in the CBR Uni Madness Final: 6,319 votes – 2,629 votes
After a month long LSU defeated Nebraska in the final of our tournament to crown the best uniforms in college football. LSU entered the tourney as a #4 seed, so perhaps their victory is somewhat of an upset. Chalk up another victory for the SEC (what don’t they win!) and a victory for traditional unis. In a tourney field that had some newer Pro Combat looks represented, in the end it was a traditional look that won out. LSU’s gold helmet, white jerseys, and gold pants have been relatively unchanged for decades. The white jerseys are a part of the fabric of LSU’s football program and as both their home and road uniforms, it’s certainly a look that defines the school. Now it can also define them as the best in college football.
