With the season opener just days away, Ohio State fans can finally put the tumultuous off-season behind them.
Jim Tressel’s replacement, Luke Fickell, gets a break in his first game with the Buckeyes as OSU hosts Akron on Saturday. Yep, it’s the same Akron team that went 1-11 last year.
To offer us at Crystall Ball Run all a little insight into the 2011 Ohio State season, we welcome Phil Shie from Eye And Eer. Phil is one of the rare Ohio State fans who wasn’t that upset to see Tressel go, and he’s excited to see how the Buckeyes will respond to the changes in Columbus.
