Seeing where the quarterbacks get picked is one of the most interesting things to watch each year in the NFL Draft. In 2013, EJ Manuel was the first quarterback drafted when he went to the Bills at #16. This year, there are three quarterbacks (Blake Bortles, Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater) that could go in the top ten.
In addition to those players, there are many other signal callers that could go on to have long productive carriers. AJ McCarron, Aaron Murray, Tajh Boyd and Zach Mettenberger were stars at the college level and will try to transition over to the pro game with Murray and Mettenberger coming off of major injuries at the end of the 2014 season. Mid-major stars Derek Carr and David Fales hope to be drafted in the first few rounds and small school QB Jimmy Garoppolo seems to be rising up the board.
I scoured the Mock Database over at DC Pro Sports Report, and here is where the top ten QBs are projected to go…..
