Georgia’s Chris Conley and his Star Wars Saga

As a junior, Georgia wide receiver Chris Conley led the Bulldogs with 45 receptions in 2013 but what he might be best known for, at least right now, is that play from the SEC Championship Game in 2012. With time running down and Georgia streaking down the field, Conley instinctively caught a tipped pass from Aaron Murray inside the Alabama five yard line as time expired to seal the win from the Tide.

If you follow Conley on Twitter, then you know he has a lot more interests than just football and one of those interests is Star Wars. Last year, Conley put out a tweet asking for help in putting together a Star Wars fan film. Yesterday, they filmed around campus in Athens and it caused quite a stir.

Here are some of the photos/tweets from yesterday…

Make sure to follow Chris as well as the production company @8prod for future updates. Look for the film in late April, or shortly after Georgia's Spring G-Day Game (which is April 12th).
