Tragedy strikes Texas A&M as Defensive End is killed in car accident

Tragedy struck the college football world this morning as a Texas A&M player, Polo Manukainiu, and a Utah recruit were killed in a car accident in New Mexico on their way back to Texas from Utah. A third person also passed away and the fourth person in the vehicle is in critical condition. According to reports all three that were killed were from Trinity High School in Euless, Texas and two of the three were brothers in Manukainiu and Lolo Uhatafe.

Sad and shocking news for an Aggies program that has had to deal with tragedy like this more than any group should have to over the past few years. Tributes are pouring in via Twitter already, including from teammates, former roommates and Johnny  Football.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the familes of those who've lost loved ones and have a loved one fighting for their life at this moment. Additionally our thoughts and prayers go out to the Aggies and Utes programs in this tragedy. More information will be coming throughout the day.
