Stanford offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton makes half-court shot

Safe to say it’s been a pretty busy week- and busy month overall- for Stanford offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton. Reports surfaced on Friday that Hamilton is set to interview for the vacant New York Jets offensive coordinator position sometime in the coming days, a mere two weeks after he helped the Cardinal beat Wisconsin 20-14 in the Rose Bowl. As one of the brightest young minds in the game, Hamilton appears to have a promising future in the sport.

Of course if football doesn’t work out for Hamilton, it also seems as though he’ll have a bright future of the Harlem Globetrotters.

Why, you ask? Well because on Saturday Hamilton attended the Stanford-Washington basketball where… apparently he made a half-court shot. There doesn’t appear to be much out there to explain why Hamilton was taking it in the first place, but the mere fact that he did make it is pretty darn cool.

Either way, enjoy the video.

And by the way, if you thought the New York Jets were a circus last year, imagine if Hamilton ends up there coaching the offense.
