Johnny Manziel hangs with James Harden

As the old saying goes: It’s good to be a Heisman Trophy winner.

Ok, so maybe that isn’t an old saying at all. But in terms of the Heisman’s newest fraternity member, Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel, that certainly appears to be the case.

Since Manziel took home the award less than two weeks ago, it truly has been a whirlwind ride for the redshirt freshman from Kerrville, TX. Since the curtain dropped on the Heisman ceremony, Johnny Football has made many stops, including an appearance on “The Late Show with Dave Letterman” and later, a cross-country trip to visit Jay Leno’s Tonight Show. There, he had the chance to meet Megan Fox… which, you know, made just about every male in America over the age of 11-years-old jealous.
And although Texas A&M’s Cotton Bowl matchup with Oklahoma is now just under two weeks away, it doesn’t appear as though the Johnny Football World Tour is coming to an end any time soon.

On Wednesday night Manziel showed up at the Houston Rockets game against the Philadelphia 76ers and while there, apparently made a new friend in Rockets guard and Olympic Gold Medalist James Harden. Above is a picture of Harden and Manziel in the postgame locker room via Harden’s Instagram feed, with the current Houston Rocket giving the camera the old Heisman pose.

Not a bad way to spend for a guy who just turned 20 earlier this month to spend a random Wednesday night, huh?

Safe to say, it really is good to be a Heisman Trophy winner.
