The Michigan Wolverines got a needed win in overtime over the Northwestern Wildcats today, 38-31. However, they wouldn't have had a chance for extra time without a miraculous reception by wide receiver Roy Roundtree as time was running down.
Down a field goal, Michigan got the ball back on its on own 38-yard line with 18 ticks left on the clock. On its first play of the drive, Roundtree hauled in the 53-yard bomb on the Wildcats' 9-yard line from quarterback Devin Gardner. That gave the Wolverines time to stop the clock with a spike and send the game to OT with a short field goal.
