Kent State 23, Buffalo 7 (AP Recap) – It was not the most MACtion-packed weeknight game we have seen but it did offer up some good moments, including a successful Hail Mary touchdown from Buffalo to close out the first half of the game. Unfortunately for the home town Bulls, Buffalo didn't have a prayer for the rest of the game with Buffalo going just 3-for-13 on third downs and giving up 239 rushing yards as Kent State took a 23-7 victory Wednesday night. Buffalo turned the football over four times as well.
Tonight's Game: BYU at No. 24 Boise State – We have a pretty interesting game setting up tonight out west. BYU dropped out of the top 25 after losing a tight one at rival Utah, and the Boise State Broncos have proven to be a tough cookie at home on the blue turf. Boise State's offense will be put to the test against another stingy defense, although perhaps not as physical as Michigan State. The Cougars have allowed just 241 yards per game after three games and they have sacked opposing quarterbacks 13 times. This game kicks off at 9 p.m.. eastern on ESPN.
