The Arkansas Razorbacks' loss to Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday had a cataclysmic effect on the program. The Hogs fell from eighth in the AP poll to the dreaded "others receiving votes" category. Quarterback Tyler Wilson didn't play in the second half. Cornerback Tevin Mitchel was knocked out on the field, left the game, and is doubtful for this week's game with Alabama.
Obviously, the loss was a nightmare for Razorbacks fans. This fan in particular took out her sadness in an interesting way…by singing a love ballad to the team in the form of "United We Stand" by Brotherhood of Man. The results were pretty fantastic, albeit creepy and offkey. I also like the lack of editing in the video, with the fan essentially singing along with the song like it's karaoke night and adding in lyrics supporting the team. She almost sounds like a phone sex operator when she's not singing.
I can only imagine the video that will be released if Alabama wipes the floor with Arkansas as expected. The Tide are currently 14 point favorites.
