Now that the college football playoff has been approved, and widely criticized already, the talk has shifted back to the familiar argument of “pay for play.” Associated Press columnist Tim Dahlberg believes pay for play should be a part of the four-team playoff, and he is certainly not alone in this belief. The topic of where to play the first college football championship game under the new structure also continues to see a heated conversation brewing. We can now officially add Atlanta to the list of candidates (and this particular college football writer suggests Atlanta should be the favorite).
