Morning Playbook – BCS future soon to be in hands of presidents

Arkansas will have a new, or updated, look this fall.

So it appears that Jim Delany may have been right about something. The chances the commissioners organize a new postseason format themselves by June 26 looks to be diminishing following yesterday’s meetings in Chicago. If a plan cannot be agreed upon and set by the time the commissioners meet again next week, all signs point to handing the problem off to the BCS Presidential Oversight Committee, despite progress being made. Dennis Dodd writes that the four-team playoff model may not have enough support to make it through the rubble.
