Why not kick things off with the country’s consensus No. 1 recruit, wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham? H/T to SoonerScoop.com ($) for the news that Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops and wide receivers coach Jay Norvell traveled to Springfield, Mo., Monday night for an in-home visit with DGB. (No helicopters involved.)
Green-Beckham has played his cards pretty close to the vest throughout his recruitment, but the smart money seems to be on him ending up at Arkansas, where he had an official visit over the weekend.
He’ll reportedly play host to Razorbacks coach Bobby Petrino later this week, along with Texas coach Mack Brown.
